  2. This 3 disc, 53 track box set does a great job of anthologising Johnny Cash's formative years as a recording artist at the Sun studios. From the off it was clear that Cash was a major talent, with his pleasing and adaptable slightly off key bass voice and sense of rhythm/5(52).

  4. I'm only giving 4,5 stars because this is not complete - it doesn't include all the Cash's Sun recordings. That's a shame because the cd's are around 40 minutes so it's just plain stupid to leave out around 5 songs (here are 54 songs but I can't remember what is total amount of Johnny's Sun songs).
  5. Johnny Cash was unbelievable in concert, you think his voice booms on record, it thunders through a p.a. speaker, I'll never forget it. One reason I bought this three cd compilation was for the Sun album (Johnny Cash Sings Hank Williams) - all of these songs are included on here/5(49).
